Most of the customers like the Gaggia Velasca Prestige Espresso Machine for making extremely good espresso but it is one that will require some learning. Customers found this machine easy to clean and also quick, only needing to be completely cleaned once a week. They also found the instruction booklet detailed and easy to follow. It is a compact and quiet machine and one customer said that they could not find anything wrong with the machine even if they tried.
Other customers have, however, found it a little difficult to attach the milk carafe into the machine. Another one was disappointed to find that some Gaggia machines do not work well with certain dark roasted beans or oily beans and might lead it to stop working consistently. Some customers are also not happy with how loud the frother can be and how even at the highest temperature setting the coffee just is not hot enough for them.
Bottom Line:
The Gaggia Velasca Prestige Espresso Machine is recommended for both commercial and home use, but only in shared spaces with a number of coffee lovers. It is a high end machine so it is a big investment, but it is also worth the money.
