A lot of customers like the Gaggia Carezza De LUXE Espresso Machine for making extremely good espresso and making it better than other machines they have tried and they say will surely make you skip Starbucks as soon as you get the hang of pulling the shots. It also handles really fine grind really well and will not leave you with puddles or leakage. So you don’t have to worry about operating an electric machine that leaks. It is also quiet compared to other home espresso machines and comes with a top cup warmer. The glasses on top of it will not rattle.
On the other hand there are some legitimate cons. First, you will need to learn to work with this machine. Experimenting with the grind, the seal, the tamping, the amount of coffee used and making sure there were no grounds on or near the lip of the basket has helped one customer. The instructions are not very detailed for making the espresso or descaling. The portafilter has to be put in just right to get a crema. Another technical thing is that the pump is not self-priming and if you run out of water you have to re-prime the pump manually.
Bottom Line:
The Gaggia Carezza De LUXE Espresso Machine is a great investment because it’s not too costly. It is recommended for both home use and baristas because it makes a variety of coffees. Its ease of use also makes it the perfect coffee machine for beginners.
